I found my stay at Quality Inn Long Island City - Queensboro Bridge to be quite a mixed bag. While the rooms were clean and well-kept, the breakfast options were disappointing. The location was excellent for subway access to Manhattan, which I really appreciated, but there were a few issues with noise and some staff confusion. Overall, it was a fair choice for budget travelers, but I wouldn't say it exceeded my expectations.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and had a mini fridge, but lacked a microwave and sufficient bathroom shelving. It was adequately sized, though the lighting could have been better.
Service
7.0
While most staff were friendly, there were moments when they mistook me for an employee, which was a bit annoying. However, the overall service was satisfactory.
Location
8.0
The location was fantastic for quick access to subway lines, making it easy to explore Manhattan. However, some may find the surrounding area a bit daunting at night.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were not great, with sad scrambled eggs and limited choices. It was tough to find seating, pushing many guests to take food back to their rooms.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had basic amenities that were mostly adequate, but it felt more like a budget option rather than a quality stay. The single elevator could be inconvenient during busy times.

I had a surprisingly nice stay at Quality Inn Long Island City. the rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious. Although the location was a bit quiet and industrial, it was conveniently close to subway access, making my trips into Manhattan easy. I must mention that the breakfast choices were disappointing, but overall, the value for the price was great.

Rooms

The room was clean and spacious, with a fridge and comfortable bed. However, I noticed that the toilet could have been cleaner. Also, the subway noise did occasionally intrude, but I managed to adapt quickly.
Service

I received excellent service, especially from Luis and Bibi who were exceptionally helpful during my check-in. They made my experience seamless and even helped me coordinate my bookings. Their genuine concern for my comfort really stood out.
Location
8.0
The hotel is in a convenient location just a short walk to the subway, which made getting into Manhattan a breeze. However, the immediate area felt a bit deserted at night, though I never felt unsafe walking around.
Dining

Breakfast was included, but the options were less than ideal. the self-made waffles were a nice touch, but overall, the selection left a lot to be desired. Luckily, there were decent cafes nearby for better breakfast choices.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had solid facilities, including all-night security and modern amenities. I appreciated the air conditioning, which worked effectively, but the noise from the nearby subway was a bit bothersome at times.

I had a great experience at Quality Inn Long Island City. The hotel offered comfortable rooms and friendly service, making it a good base for exploring New York City. However, the breakfast options were quite limited and not very appetizing.

My room was spacious by New York standards, complete with a desk, chair, flat-screen TV, and a small refrigerator. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I appreciated having enough space to move around.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly during check-in. I felt welcomed and valued from the moment I arrived, which significantly enhanced my stay.
Location

The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from subway stations, easily connecting me to Manhattan. The surrounding area felt safe, though a bit empty, especially at night.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was decent but lacked variety; the eggs were quite dry, which was disappointing. However, it was free, so I can't complain too much.

My stay at Quality Inn Long Island City was better than I expected. The location near subway stations made for easy access to Manhattan, though the surrounding neighborhood was still developing. The room was comfortable, but the air conditioner was quite noisy. Breakfast options were basic, but the presence of fresh waffles was a nice touch.

Rooms
8.0
The room was clean and spacious by New York standards, which was a pleasant surprise. It had a comfortable bed and a small refrigerator (very handy!). However, I did notice that the blackout curtains didn't fully cover the window, which made it a bit tricky to sleep well with the elevator noise from the subway outside.
Service
7.0
Check-in went smoothly, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I felt welcomed right away, although I did see some staff members eating breakfast in front of guests, which didn't seem very professional.
Location
8.0
The location was convenient for getting to Manhattan quickly (it only took about 20 minutes). I appreciated being close to the subway. While the area felt a bit empty and industrial, I didn't feel unsafe, especially since there were several restaurants and cafes within walking distance.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was pretty basic. The scrambled eggs were dry, and I found a few items like cereal and pastries a bit stale. However, I liked that I could make fresh waffles, which was a nice perk, and the overall atmosphere during breakfast was uncrowded.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel had modern amenities which contributed to a pleasant stay. The air conditioning worked well and helped block out some of the noise from the subway. I also appreciated the availability of a small micro-fridge in my room.

I had a decent stay at Quality Inn Long Island City, appreciating the cleanliness and the helpful staff, especially Luis who made check-in smooth. However, the breakfast options were quite disappointing, and the noise from the nearby subway could be bothersome. Overall, it offers good value for budget-conscious travelers like me.

Rooms

The room was quite spacious and very clean, which was a pleasant surprise for the price. The bed was comfortable, but some quirks like the lack of heavy curtains to block out light in one room were noticeable.

The staff were generally friendly and accommodating, with lovely service at reception. However, I did encounter a slightly unsettling moment with a security guard questioning my use of the staircase.
Location

The hotel is conveniently located within a short walk to the subway, making it easy to access Manhattan. While the surrounding area can appear deserted at night, I felt safe throughout my stay.
